Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln
GOD DAY EVERYONE!!
I was thinking about writing of a famous person in the great american history.
And I Lincon was the first thin that hit me.
Abraham Lincoln was born 12 February 1809, died April 15, 1865 he was an American Republican politician. He was America's 16th president from 1861 until his assassination in 1865. He led the country through the American Civil War, preserved the Union and abolished slavery. Lincoln was shot and killed in an assassination attempt when the war was over, only a month after he was re-elected president for a second term. Before Lincoln became the first Republican president, he was a lawyer and member of the House of Representatives and the Illinois' legislature. Twice he was a candidate for the Senate, but was not selected.

As an outspoken opponent of the expansion of slavery in the United States, Lincoln was nominated as the Republican presidential candidate in 1860, and was elected president later that year. thanks for staying with me this trip and have a good day.

New york 9/11

Hello and good morning.
I was thinking about writhing about the 9/11 event that happend in 2001. And it is a heart breaking story.
The 9/11 were a series of four coordinated terrorist attacks launched by the Islamic terrorist group al-Qaeda upon the United States in New York City and the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area on Tuesday, September 11, 2001. The attacks killed 2,996 people and caused at least $10 billion in property and infrastructure damage.

Four passenger airliners were hijacked by al-Qaeda terrorists so they could be flown into buildings in suicide attacks. Two of those planes were crashed into the North and South towers, respectively, of the World Trade Center complex in New York City. Within two hours, both towers collapsed with debris and the resulting fires causing partial or complete collapse of all other buildings in the WTC complex, as well as significant damage to ten other large surrounding structures. A third plane was crashed into the Pentagon (the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense), leading to a partial collapse in its western side. The fourth plane was targeted at Washington, D.C., but crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, after its passengers tried to overcome the hijackers. In total, 2,996 people died in the attacks, including the 227 civilians and 19 hijackers aboard the four planes. It also was the deadliest incident for firefighters and for law enforcement officers in the history of the United States, with 343 and 72 killed respectively. Suspicion quickly fell on al-Qaeda. Although the group's leader, Osama bin Laden, initially denied any involvement. This is the event that happend septemer 11/9 2001 and killed over 3000 people.
